Preparation is crucial
When replacing the
golf cart battery, please remember to keep it safe. Whenever you operate or maintain the golf cart battery, be sure to wear gloves and goggles.
The ratchet or wrench kit is the only hardware tool required to replace the battery. To safely disassemble lead-acid batteries, wear protective goggles and gloves (to prevent acid and corrosion). If the battery is heavy, use a battery strap. To track all connections, it is best to take a photo and draw the wiring diagram for the settings before starting.
Old batteries should be removed
Before removing the battery, acid resistant work gloves should be worn.
Use a wrench to connect the positive lead of the battery pack to the positive main power connector on the golf cart body. After disconnecting the positive lead, connect the grounding wire of the battery pack to the main connection of the golf cart.
Disconnect the positive terminal of the battery pack from the negative terminal of the subsequent battery. Continue processing the next battery and follow the same steps until all golf cart battery cables in that group are disconnected.
After removing the batteries from the battery pack, place them one at a time on a horizontal surface away from the golf cart.

Before installation, clean the battery box and new batteries to ensure that there are no debris inside.
Spray and scrub with the cleaning spray and wire brush included in the terminal protection kit to clean any corrosion deposits on the connections. To prevent corrosion, spray each connector with terminal protection spray included in the kit. Afterwards, you can start installing the new battery.
